The full Glastonbury Lineup was revealed today and one name instantly jumped out. The Churnups!
Rumours are already flying around about this mysterious band. The Foo Fighters seem to be the current favourite behind to be playing as The Churnups.
There is a Twitter profile for The Churnups that only follows Glastonbury and The Foo Fighters. It could be fake or it could be legit. Also, the only tweet on it says “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”. These are lyrics in a new Foo Fighters song.
Pulp is also mentioned. The Churnups do sound like something Jarvis Cocker would come up with. It sounds like a Northern English term. Both bands are known for their humour so it wouldn’t surprise me if it is one or the other.
One thing is for sure, that slot will attract a lot of people in front of The Pyramid Stage on Friday afternoon.
So who do you think it is? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
Keep an eye out for other secret sets. They are normally listed on the lineup as TBA or TBC. In the past, these slots have been filled by Radiohead (twice), Pulp, The Killers and Lady Gaga.
See you on the farm.
