We both discovered Glastonbury Festival pretty late. Once we had our first taste though there was no stopping us. You can read about Paul’s first Glasto experience here: Why Glastonbury? Karen’s first Glastonbury was the muddy 2007 one and like all first Glastonbury experiences, she doesn’t remember much.
Paul went the following year in 2008, or the Jay Z year. He took to it like a duck to water. Talking of water, if you ever want a guaranteed sunny Glastonbury, go with Paul. He has only had one wet one!
So why did we start this website? Well, we have experience in running a successful blog because we run a Sustainable Travel blog called globalhelpswap.com. We wanted to share our knowledge of the Glastonbury Festival and highlight the parts of the festival that you don’t see on the BBC. We also want to give shout outs to all the amazing people who help create the world’s greatest festival. From the litter picker to Emily and Michael Eavis.
We also want to share the Glasto stories from the people who make this corner of Somerset so special: You!
Peace and Love everyone. See you on the farm.
