Lime Kiln Ground Glastonbury. The Lime Kiln Ground campsite at Glastonbury Festival is one of the highest points (if not the highest) you can camp at the north end of the festival site. Like the Hitchin Hill Ground site, this area does not get as full as others. So if you are arriving late on Wednesday or even Thursday, you should find a spot.
Like the other nearby campsites, Lime Kiln Ground is close to Woodsies, Silver Hayes and The Pyramid Stage.

It is not as busy as the nearby camp areas. Reports from people in my Facebook group say there was space there on Thursday at Glastonbury 2024.
Is Lime Kiln Ground noisy?
There are no real quiet areas at the world’s biggest festival, but I would say that Lime Kiln Ground is one of the quieter areas.
Pros and Cons of Camping at Lime Kiln Ground, Glastonbury
Pros:
- It is not as busy as the nearby areas
- Close to the bus drop-off point
- It is close to The Pyramid Stage
- Great Views
- It is close to the Woodsies Area
Cons:
- It is steep
- Far from the Park and the Southeast Corner
Conclusions
Lime Kiln Ground has two of the major stages (Pyramid & Woodsies) right next to it, as well as Silver Hayes. If you plan to spend a lot of time in those areas, then this could be a good spot for you to camp.
If you arrive late, then this campsite could be a good place for you, and it is close to the bus drop-off point.
Remember, you will hardly spend any time in your tent, so don’t stress too much about where you camp.
