It is not as busy as the nearby camp areas. Reports from people in my Facebook group say there was space there on Thursday at Glastonbury 2024.
Is Hitchin Hill Ground noisy?

There are no real quiet areas at the world’s biggest festival but I would say that Hitchin Hill is relatively quiet.
Pros and Cons of Camping at Hitchin Hill Ground, Glastonbury
Pros:
- It is close to The Pyramid Stage
- It is close to the Woodsies Area
- It is not as busy as nearby areas
- Great Views
- Close to the bus drop-off point
Cons:
- It is steep
- Far from the nighttime areas
Conclusions
Hitchin Hill Ground has two of the major stages (Pyramid & Woodsies) right next to it. If you plan to spend a lot of time in those areas, then this could be a good spot for you to camp.
If you arrive late then this campsite could be a good place for you.
Remember, you will hardly spend any time in your tent, so don’t stress too much about where you camp.
