Hawkwell Glastonbury. The Hawkwell Campsite is a super popular area right near The Pyramid Stage and Woodsies Stage. Worthy Farm is just behind it too so if you fancy a cuppa with Emily Eavis you can pop by!
Where is the best place to park for Hawkwell?

Hawkwell is almost in the middle between The Eastern and Western Car Parks. If you come from the west then the pink car park is best. If you arrive from the east then the purple or blue car parks will work. (Blue will be a bit further).
Which gate is best to enter for Hawkwell?

Again, it can be either side. So if you park in the pink car park then Gate A. If you park in the purple or blue car parks then enter through Gates B or C. If you are arriving by public transport you get dropped off at Gate A, so Hawkwell is not too far.
How quickly does Hawkwell fill up?

Fairly quickly but not as quickly as Big Ground & Kidney Mead. That is probably to do with the steepness of the hill.
Is Hawkwell Noisy?

It can be, yes. As it is close to San Remo you will hear the music pumping from there until the early hours. That said, you will be so exhausted every night that you will be able to sleep through anything! (I do anyhow).
Pros and Cons of Camping at Hawkwell
Pros:
- It is close to The Pyramid Stage
- It is close to the Woodsies Area
- It has great views
- There are some great bars nearby like San Remo, The Cider Bus and The Village Inn
Cons:
- It is quite a steep hill so you will be sleeping at an angle
- It can get noisy
Conclusions
Hawkwell has two of the major stages (Pyramid & Woodsies) right next to it. If you plan to spend a lot of time in those areas then this could be a good spot for you to camp. However, I think nearby campsites are better but you will have to arrive early to nab a spot.
Remember, you will hardly spend any time in your tent so don’t stress too much about where you camp.
See you on the farm.
