The Park Stage & Area Glastonbury. I love The Park Stage. Emily Eavis ran this stage and area before taking over the entire festival. I love coming to watch a set just before sunset, as you can watch the sun go down behind the stage. In 2019, I watched an amazing performance by Michael Kiwanuka here.

There are always secret sets here, too. Radiohead and Pulp have played sets that were not announced. The performers on the stage are as eclectic as the area itself. You will find anything from The Pretenders to Fever Ray. If you want a decent spot, then get here early because the stage and area are super popular.
The Park Stage made its debut at Glastonbury 2007. Since then, there have been roughly 173 performances on it. At night, it can get quite busy, especially when the main acts have finished on the main Glastonbury stages.
The Park Stage and Park Area feel like a festival within a festival. There are so many different venues here, if it were anywhere else, it would be its own festival. That is what I love about Glastonbury.
The Venues in The Park, Glastonbury

The Ribbon Tower – Go up before sunset to watch the rays light up the Vale of Avalon below you.

The Stonebridge Bar – Live acts play here, and it also hosts hip-hop karaoke.

Humblewell/The Wormhole – In the daytime, the Humblewell is a yoga and wellness centre. At night, it changes into The Wormhole, where you listen to the best of UK Jazz.

The Bimble Inn – A solar-powered beer tent with some great acts playing there.

Crows Nest Bar – The perfect name for the highest bar on site. Walk up the steep hill right to the top for great views of the festival. The bar also hosts The Free University of Glastonbury, where stars sometimes become guest lecturers. This is also another venue where you might find a secret acoustic set by big names.

Tricketts Bar – One of my favourite bars at Glastonbury with amazing views.

The Wishing Well. A place to ignite your deepest desires and unfurl your wildest wishes.

Scissors
A femme-queer venue where anything can happen. Head to Scissors for a cut, or just come along to enjoy some of the daily talks.
Relax in the beer garden and play pool, or catch a movie in Flick Shack. With nightfall comes a twilight roster filling Kiki’s nightclub, where kaleidoscopic walls will keep you dancing til dawn.

HMS Sweet Charity – Visual performances and DJ sets each night in, you’ve guessed it, a ship!

The Big Easy Jam – This place is where you come to if you want to say you have played Glastonbury. Loads of instruments are scattered around for anyone to use.
