The Acoustic Stage Glastonbury. The Acoustic Stage has been entertaining people at Glastonbury Festival since 1984. If you want to see some fantastic musicians from the past and present, this could be the stage for you.

The Acoustic Stage
The Acoustic Stage can hold up to 8,000 people and is one of the few covered stages at Glastonbury Festival. Having a cover helps if it is a wet Glastonbury, or more likely, a hot one.
The crowd is always up for it here. As I have mentioned before, Glastonbury is 100 festivals happening at the same time that roll into one. You get fans of a particular area who will spend a bulk of their time just there.
The Acoustic Stage is one of those areas. The crowd are always up for a sing-along, and there is always a warm, welcoming feeling here. It is perfect if you are attending Glastonbury with children because it is just up from The Kidfield, and The Pilton Palais Cinema is just across from The Acoustic Stage.
There is also one of my favourite bars between The Acoustic Stage and The Pilton Palais. It is called The Cockmill Bar, and they have both inside and outside seating.

With over 100 stages trying to grab your attention at Glastonbury, it is hard to see it all. In fact, in my article for newbies, I always say less is more. I tend to have 2/3 acts I want to see a day and the rest I let the Glasto gods decide.
That being said, if you want to have some chilled time (especially in the afternoon), then The Acoustic Stage is a perfect venue for that. You can sit down, listen and watch some great artists and be covered from the elements.
See you on the farm!
