Wicket Ground Glastonbury. There are two family camping areas at Glastonbury Festival. Wicket Ground is located on the North West of the festival site, and Cockmill Meadow is on the North East side. Wicket Ground has a fence around it to provide a contained and safe area for younger Festival-goers.
Wicket Ground is exclusively a family camping area, so if you are not attending the festival with children, then don’t try and camp here.

There are compost toilets and sinks located within the Wicket Ground that are for the sole use of the families staying there. (Unlike Cockmill Meadow, which has toilets for all).
There are property lockups here too, so you can store your trolleys and pushchairs.
The Wicket Ground is near The Wood of Woodsies. This area is perfect for shade if it’s a hot Glastonbury. The little ones will love it in there as it is perfect for exploring.
There is also a food tent right next to the area, which will come in handy throughout the 5 days down at Worthy Farm. It is open from very early for breakfasts and coffee, and closes at around 22:00. There are pros and cons to staying here. Out of the two family areas, it is the largest and most strict at who stays there, but it is also the furthest from the Kidzfield.
The campsite stewards (who are brilliant) will try and meet as many families arriving in these areas. They can help you find space and even give you a hand carrying your gear if they are not too busy. They will also monitor the areas throughout the day and night.
Where is the best place to park for the Wicket Ground?

The best car parks to park for the Wicket Ground are the Pink Car Parks.
Which gate is best for the Wicket Ground Campsite at Glastonbury?

Gate A is the closest gate to the Wicket Ground campsite at Glastonbury.
How quickly does the Wicket Ground fill up?

Cockmill fills up before Wicket, so if you are arriving at the festival after Wednesday, bear that in mind. The Wicket Ground is the larger of the two family camp areas, and there is plenty of space for families who arrive later.
Is the Wicket Ground noisy?
There are no really quiet camp spots at Glastonbury. With 250,000 people milling around, it is hard to keep the noise down. The Wicket Ground is quite far from the late-night noise but is next to the Woodsies area. The Woodsies Stage stops at 23:45. To be honest, you will all be so exhausted, I am sure you will sleep through anything.

Conclusions
