How to get into Glastonbury Festival for free. No, I am talking about climbing over the super fence or digging a tunnel. I am talking about some of the legitimate ways you can get into Glastonbury Festival without paying. There are three main ways to do it: volunteering, entering competitions and working.

Volunteering at Glastonbury Festival

There are lots of charities that need volunteers at Glastonbury. In exchange for your hard work and skills, you receive a Glastonbury Ticket, a special area to camp (with hot showers and clean toilets!) and other benefits like free meals. It is a great way to attend the festival, and you will save a lot of money. The charities will ask you for a deposit, which you get back once you have completed your work.
The hours you volunteer are different for each charity, but you would typically volunteer for 8 hours in 3 shifts over 5 days. For the rest of your time, you can do what you like. I know many people who have volunteered at the festival, and they have loved it. Some people volunteer for the same charity year after year. There are also street food vendors who look out for volunteers. Check out the Facebook group Festival Work UK to find them.

Glastonbury Festival Ticket Competitions

Every year, lots of different companies that are connected to Glastonbury launch Glastonbury Ticket competitions. There are at least 10 competitions that come to mind. There is most probably more. Now, I know you will think it is nigh on impossible to win these competitions, but I know many people in my community who have. You might as well try every way possible to get those golden Glastonbury Tickets!
I list as many of the competitions I can find here: Glastonbury Ticket Competitions
Work at Glastonbury Festival

Now and then, Glastonbury Festival themselves are looking for people to work at the festival. These roles are normally temporary, and there aren’t many of them. They normally start looking a few months before the festival begins in June. They will put up the positions on the official Glastonbury Website here: Glastonbury Festival Jobs
Other positions like Internal Traffic Management, Car Parking Staff and post-festival cleanup crews are also available. You can find more information on these websites:
